Accessible Field Trips and Courses
Each year we organize and sponsor an accessible Geology field trip in conjunction with the Geological Society of America’s national meeting to showcase great geology locations as well as demonstrate tangible ways to make field courses more accessible and inclusive.
Student Pathways Scholarships
This scholarship is a one-time award of $500 – $1,000, depending upon the number of applicants, for students with disabilities pursuing fields of study within the geosciences. This scholarship is open to both full-time and part-time students.
IGER Awards
The IAGD Inclusive Geoscience Education and Research (IGER) Awards recognize outstanding efforts in promoting, developing, and/or implementing inclusive instruction & research.
IAGD Leadership Training
The IAGD Leadership Training Program trains committed individuals.
Tactile Image Repository
The Tactile Image Repository is dedicated to expanding non‑visual access to geoscience by providing high‑quality tactile diagrams, models, and learning materials.
