On April 28, 2013, The International Association of Geoscience Diversity (IAGD) became an Associated Society of the Geological Society of America (GSA). This is a large step in the recognition of access and inclusion for students and scientists with disabilities and a huge boost of progressive thinking and planning for broadening participation of the geoscience workforce. More information will be posted soon about upcoming IAGD events at the GSA Annual Meeting, October 27-30, in Denver, Colorado, USA.
