About Me:

I’m a Lecturer and researcher in the Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Florida. My education research focuses on addressing the social, institutional and physical barriers to participation for underserved populations in the geosciences, with a special focus on disability-inclusive field & research opportunities. My secondary area of research utilizes geophysical surveys to study volcanic craters caused by magma + groundwater eruptions.

I have a physical disability and chronic pain/fatigue and have been on the board of the IAGD since 2016. Currently I serve as the Executive Director of the IAGD.
