About Me:

Pradip is an Archean Geologist and Geochemist. His research focuses on the fundamental aspects of the Earth’s evolution, with a particular emphasis on the formation and evolution of crusts into Archean cratons. He teaches undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students and conducts research on Bundelkhand and other cratonic blocks of the Indian shield. Understanding the geology of these areas has proven vital in unraveling Earth’s early history. His current projects are “Metamorphic history and evolution of the Bundelkhand Craton” and ” Isotopic investigations in the Madawara ultramafic-mafic complex, and its Implications for Mesoarchean crustal evolution”.
