About Me:

I’m currently a senior at University of New Haven. I started my college education in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science. My love and interest in science grew stronger over the years. I have since added General Biology and Environmental Sciences as additional majors with minors in English and Chemistry. Currently I’m on track to graduate in Spring 2019.

I’m a female who was diagnosed with bilateral hearing loss when I five years old which requires me to wear hearing aids. One of the greatest hardships I have experienced is my hearing loss. Due to my disability, Science helped me overcome my disability. By having a disability, my intelligence was underestimated. No one thought I would accomplish as much as I have. I’m living proof that a disability shouldn’t stop you from reaching your goals.
