The Geological Society of America (GSA) is dedicated to advancing the geosciences and supporting the professional growth of earth scientists at all levels. To that end, the Society embraces diverse ideas, abilities, backgrounds, and needs, and fosters opportunities for members with differing experiences and talents to participate and contribute.
GSA is proud to work in partnership with IAGD to increase accessibility of all its meetings, including working with participants who require individual accommodation. Specific initiatives at the GSA Annual Meeting include CART (Communication Access Real-time Translation) services at keynote symposia and selected lectures, a variety of alternative formats for speaker presentations, coordinating fully accessible field trips, and providing a self-care room for attendees.
