Dr. Linda Reinen of Pomona College is the IAGD 2018 IGER Award winner for inclusive teaching or research.

Every year, the IAGD honors those who are going above and beyond to include all students in their classes and research experiences. This month, Dr. Linda Reinen from Pomona College has been named the 2018 IAGD Inclusive Geoscience Education and Research Awardee.

Dr. Reinen’s commitment to inclusive design is evident in both classroom and field instruction. Her proactive support of students with disabilities through collaborative planning, and being a strong advocate for accessibility and inclusion within her department and across Pomona college exemplifies the IAGD community and the IGER award.
