4. Thatcher Named New Chair of the IAGD Student Community
Mr. Sean Thatcher has been named as the chairman of the IAGD Student Community. He will be charged with encouraging more participation of students with disabilities in the geosciences and working directly with the IAGD Executive Committee to establish more resources and supports for students interested in pursuing geoscience as a career.
